To our children

There is joy in having a family and bittersweet moments as well. The advantage of a large family is that one appreciates the younger set so much, because the reality of how quickly it passes. Goodtimes and bad so quickly are gone just to leave fleeting memories. This evening Dale and I were checking out blogs and stumbles a link that brought tears to our eyes. It reminded us of the way it is when the children leave the nest. It isn't always pleasant but truly a necessary passage to adulthood. I want to dedicate the link to my kids who have made that transition and left us with wonderful memories of the years that we shared.

We're learning on our own how fast our kids grow. Yes, their still little.. but it won't be long... Makes me want to treasure EACH moment even more than we already do!

Wow - what a great time to find your blog! Thank you for sharing that ... the older we get the faster the kids seem to grow!
