Early one morning I was working in the kitchen and the girls come down and start playing. Summer has taken an interest in the piano and she starts plunking away at the piano. She starts plunking away at the piano and before I know it, she has a song I recognize. She says, "Mom,look I can play number 98." I walked over there and I was quite amazed because she can't read a note. Yet she figured out the tune. I just caught the tail end on the camera, but you can see that it really happened. Oh yes, and the second picture was just too funny not to share. I caught Chantel playing with my camera today and when I went to upload my pics guess what I found.Friday, January 9, 2009

Oh yeah! one of those special surprises!! My 2 youngest have really been playing the piano lately too. Kaela's begging me to teach her, Kara's picking things out on her own.

I learned to play the piano by ear when I was pretty young, but then had a terrible time learning by note!
Yay, piano! I learned to play by note, and now can do a little by ear, but not much!
That's awesome! I never know what I'll find on my camera...good thing it's digital or we'd waste a lot of film!
