We had a very relaxing July 4th weekend. Our guys headed to Fargo for the holiday, and the kids went to Autumn's on Wednesday, so it was a weekend without the kids. Dale and I kept busy socializing. We went down to Dean and Kathy Ramsdens Thurs. evening. Dan and Wanda Swonger were there and the guys had some fun doing a all male quartet with some of our hymns. Friday we did a little yard work and than headed to Kelly and Rachel Jeske's cottage on Mason Lake. We enjoyed two days of camping, fishing and relaxing around a campfire. Thanks, Kelly and Rach. We hiked 303 steps to the top of Roche a Crie, which is a state park with a very high overlook on our way home on Saturday. Sunday, we were at Lyndon Station for meeting, and than headed to Madison to meet Autumn & Phil with the kids at the Henry Vilas zoo. We came home via hwy. 12 and took the car ferry across Lake Wisconsin at Merrimac for a little variety in our return from Madison. The kids always enjoy that. Oh yes, the traffic jams were horrendous between Wisconsin Dells and Madison so we were glad we were going north at 5:00 when most were going south. I will just post some high light pictures of our weekend.
