Happy, Happy Birthday, to my friend Maxine.
We had a lovely week with beautiful weather and scenic days. Knowing what summer in Wisconsin is like, helps me survive the four or five months of winter.
Last week was pretty typical but we made sure we enjoyed a little of summer along the way. Dale and I both were at our Marshfield store so after our business after 5 dinner put on by our chamber of commerce, we took an extra hour and spent a little time at North Wood County Park, which is one of the best kept secrets, for recreation. We took some lovely pictures and and enjoyed the scenery. Oh yes, I am by no means a car buff, but there is only one car that has gotten me excited. There was one at the business after 5 so I posed by it. Check it out on the side of my blog.
Thursday evening, Dale and I, took Blaise to western Wisconsin for his college orientation at UW-Eau Claire. He got to spend the night at his new home come this fall. (See pic)Towers Hall houses half of the students that attend the university. He is really excited about going there and we hope it is a good experience for him. I'll post a slide show of our pics of Sunday. That way I can post to all my other networking sites.
