I can hardly believe that 3 weeks have gone without me getting a chance to post.I finished my taxes without filing an extension. Yahoo!! We restructered our business in hopes that we can remain viable in the recession which is showing its effects in central Wisconsin and elseware. I've had company the last two weekends, so it is no wonder I didn't have time to post or email or anything else.
It is special meeting time now, so last night we had our worker privileges with Jane Miller and Tina Stringfield spending the night with us. We were able to sing some hymns together and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent together.
Yesterday I had the most wonderful experience. I looked out my window and saw a pileated woodpecker. He was about 16" long and gorgeous with the red crest and white and black wing span. Unfortunately he didn't stay around long enough for me to grab my camera. Hopefully he will be back. I decided to put some feed out for him, so maybe he will come back. I also noticed that there is a tree down over the power lines so hopefully the power company will be out today to remove it.
It is springtime, finally! I will post a picture of the crocuses blooming where the huge piles of snow were in a previous post. It is over the septic system, so it is definitely the first place to thaw. I will also post a picture on the apple tree that I was pruning, so you can see that we still have piles of snow.

Sounds like you're always busy! It's amazing how fast time goes, and I always feel like once Feb is over, the rest of the year is just like a flash!
