Oh yes.....we had a wonderful spring and summer. Too bad it only lasted a week. I enjoyed the sunshine and the 70 degree weather. Than winter showed up again this morning. Check out the before and after picture. My flowers were beautiful as the pictures show. Too bad when the snow hides their beauty.
We had a quiet weekend with our two younger boys gone with friends. Drew took part in his first triathalon. He and his teamates placed in the middle of the group so didn't do bad for their first time. They were all 13 year olds. He enjoyed it and wants to do it again.
We attended the funeral of a man where Dale and I met on Sunday for about a year. He was a wonderful person and meant a lot to us when we were just starting our family. He always had words of advice that were timely and provided a wonderful example of what we wanted to be like. We are glad for his life and glad that his journey was successful.
We appreciated some bonding time with Dane yesterday. Sometimes it is hard to connect with the kids who are older and live at home,because life is busy and people pass like ships in the night. We were outside with the little girls and Dane joined us for the afternoon. It is when people actually stop and do nothing, that meaningful things can happen. Thanks, Dane.

Well, the flowers are gorgeous...and quite the pictures we get of them blooming in the snow, eh?! Someone said tonight that there are snow showers predicted for Fri night again here...????!!!!????
