Christmas Craziness!!!

One more week of this Christmas craziness. It is getting better though, because I think I only have to go to the store on Monday this week. I do have a ton of bookkeeping to catch up on though. We have been surviving with Dale and Greg working at the stores full time and Kent,Dane and I working part-time. If you would have told me that that was possible, I wouldn't have believed it a month ago. It is amazing what you can do when you have to.

December 2nd , we hosted a surprise 50th anniversary party for my parent in-laws. It was a total surprise for them and turned out very nice. Almost all their siblings showed up along with a few nieces and nephews. There was a huge snowtorm the night before and when we arrived at the hall we rented, it was snowed in. Fortunately the plow arrived just before the guests and cleared the parking areas. It is beautiful and snowy outside ,having had about 16 inches of snow so far.

Along with the extreme increase in the shipping business at Christmas time, there are also other activites to take up our time. Drew is wrestling at the junior high and playing in band so we have those actvities to follow. There is is our annual New Years Eve. get-together which we are looking forward to. Greg will be bringing his girlfriend and her sister to meet the family and spend some time with us between the holidays so it should be fun and relaxing.
