It is a gorgeous fall day today. What an exciting day to be alive. School vacation is tomorrow and the children are going on vacation, with the boys going to visit some friends in Wausau and the girls going to Grandma and Grandpa Thompson's.
Dale and I combined a little business with pleasure last night in Milwaukee taking care of some business, than having dinner with Dale's sister Dawn and family. We finished the evening with a final chorus practice in West Allis for the district barbershop contest which is in Rochester, Mn. on Friday and Saturday. The Steven's Point group and the West Allis group combine so that they can compete with the biggest groups in the competition.
Our fall soccer season ended last Saturday. Drew was in school soccer and Beau and Summer in Recreational soccer. Beau and Summer's teams both ended the season with only one loss. Summer played her little heart out in the last game of the season. She also got an award so it was an exciting day for her. Now the boys are gearing up for wrestling which starts in about two weeks.

This is so neat to have a little glimps into each others lives. Makes the distance seem not so huge!
